"When you have a good thing, share it." We were all taught this age-old lesson as little tikes. It seems as though Toyota is executing this philosophy in a big way by sending U.S.-assembled models of the beloved Toyota Camry sedan to South Korea.

Coming from the Toyota manufacturing plant in Georgetown, KY, the Camry will migrate to South Korea at a rate of 6,000-units per year. Yoshimi Inaba, President and COO of Toyota Motor North America, attributes the export decision to global success. He says, "We are pleased with the reaction that the redesigned Camry is receiving from our customers and the sales success it is having in the U.S. and overseas."1

While the Camry has displayed tremendous staying power across many markets, it isn't the only new Toyota model to find global recognition. The Indiana-made Toyota Sienna began exportation to South Korea last month. In fact, the automaker has increased its exports by 30-percent in 2010 and now sends vehicles to 19 countries.

Avondale Toyota is always thrilled to hear of Toyota expansion whether it's across the globe or in our own backyard. We're also proud to carry a full lineup of the well-versed Camry at our 10005 West Papago Freeway Avondale, AZ 85323 location. With more than 8.5-million units sold since its inception in 1983, we're never short of the stellar sedan. If you're interested in taking one for a spin, feel free to contact our brand ambassadors online and let us know a time that works well for you.
