The already attractive FR-S is getting a new makeover with a limited special edition run known as Release Series 2.0. Motivated by the same FA20 Boxer engine, the new FR-S focuses on luxury and style. “The FR-S is well known for being a fabulous sports car, and now we’re taking it up a notch in the luxury arena,” said Scion Vice President Andrew Gilleland. “It’s the perfect car to take from the race track during the day to the red carpet that evening.”
Equipped with heated seats, the FR-S Release Series 2.0 features black leather and Alacantara throughout the interior, highlighted by camel-colored accents and stitching. With a production limit of 1,000 units, each vehicle will have its sequential number embroidered on the dash. Premium amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, Smart key with push-button start, HID headlamps. 17-inch alloy wheels and a unique aero kit add flair and distinction.
