2024 Toyota Camry Vs. The competition
Compare the 2024 Toyota Camry to Its Fiercest Rivals in Avondale, AZ
Midsize cars have almost as much room as SUVs, but they hug the road closer for a more engaging driving experience. The 2024 Toyota Camry has a comfortable ride and composed handling that's ideal for running errands in Tempe, AZ. It also has a spacious, feature-rich interior. The new Honda Accord and the new Nissan Altima are also smooth-riding midsize sedans, but they don't offer the all-around excellence of the Camry. Avondale Toyota built the following comparison for more explanation.

Engine Power and Acceleration
Toyota Camry
You'll want a car with plenty of get-up-and-go for effortless merging onto I-10 in Phoenix. The 2024 Toyota Camry comes standard with a 203-horsepower four-cylinder engine, but a 301-horsepower V6 motor is available that cranks out 267 pound-feet of torque. Both engines mate with a smooth, quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission that makes good use of the power.
Honda Accord
The new Honda Accord only offers one engine. Its turbocharged 192-horsepower four-cylinder engine doesn't provide quite as much zip as the Camry's high-powered motors.
Nissan Altima
The new Nissan Altima offers two engine choices, but neither of them is a V6. The Altima's four-cylinder base engine only produces 188 horsepower, while the upgraded four-cylinder motor generates just 236 horsepower.
All-Wheel Drive
Toyota Camry
All-wheel drive helps you get stronger traction on gravel roads in Glendale, AZ. The 2024 Toyota Camry's available all-wheel drive system can send up to 50% of the car's torque to the rear wheels for more grip on gravel, rain, or mud. All-wheel drive is an option for all models except the highest Camry TDR trim.
Honda Accord
All-wheel drive is not available in the new Honda Accord.
Nissan Altima
The new Nissan Altima offers all-wheel drive, but only in in SV, SR, and SL trims.

Fuel Economy
Toyota Camry
Gas can be expensive, so driving a fuel-efficient car can save Peoria drivers a lot of money in the long run. The 2024 Toyota Camry earns up to 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway when properly equipped. Even all-wheel drive models get up to 34 mpg on the highway.
Honda Accord
The new Honda Accord returns 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
Nissan Altima
The new Nissan Altima delivers 27 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway in its most efficient configuration.
Infotainment System
Toyota Camry
An easy-to-use infotainment system lets you safely enjoy music, hands-free phone calls, and your smartphone apps while you're rolling through Avondale. The 2024 Toyota Camry has one of the most user-friendly systems on the market. It comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Standard Amazon Alexa capability allows you to control some functions with your voice.
Honda Accord
The new Honda Accord also has a straightforward infotainment system with a standard 7-inch touchscreen, but Amazon Alexa is not available.
Nissan Altima
The new Nissan Altima's base infotainment system doesn't offer Android Auto and Apple Carplay smartphone integration, so you have to pay more to add it.

Price
The 2024 Toyota Camry's starting MSRP is over $1,000 less than the new Honda Accord's base price. The Camry's entry-level price is slightly higher than the new Nissan Altima's base cost, but its range-topping TRD trim is more than $2,000 lower than the Altima's top-tier model.
