Towing
None of these SUVs can tow more than a new Toyota 4Runner. A maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds in the Toyota 4Runner helps Avondale drivers haul their boats and trailers with ease. The Ford Bronco (3,500 pounds), Jeep Wrangler (2,000 to 3,500 pounds), and the GMC Terrain AT4 (1,500) all fall short in towing.

Engines
All Toyota 4Runner SUVs for sale in Avondale have a 4.0-liter V6 engine under the hood, generating 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. The GMC Terrain AT4, Jeep Wrangler, and Ford Bronco have base turbocharged 4-cylinder engines that output 175, 270, and 275 horsepower, respectively.
The GMC Terrain's max torque output of 203 pound-feet can't compare to the 278 pound-feet of torque from the Toyota 4Runner. Neither can the Jeep Wrangler's Pentastar® V6 engine with a torque rating of 260 pound-feet.

Seating
Most new Toyota 4Runner SUVs available in Avondale seat five passengers. However, if you're taking extra explorers along for your trips outside Phoenix, you can upgrade to a new Toyota 4Runner SR5 or Limited grade with optional seven-passenger seating.
The new Toyota 4Runner is the only one of these SUVs to offer a third row of seats. GMC Terrain AT4 SUVs seat five passengers, while the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler offer two- and four-door models with seating options for four or five travelers.
Cargo Space
As you leave Peoria on a trip, the Toyota 4Runner provides more cargo space than the other new SUVs. Ford Bronco models offer either 22 to 52 or 38 to 83 cubic feet of cargo space, and the Jeep Wrangler goes from 31 to 72 cubic feet of cargo space. GMC Terrain AT4 SUVs offer 30 to 63 cubic feet. None of these figures come close to the new Toyota 4Runner, which provides 47 cubic feet of storage and a max cargo volume of 90 cubic feet.
Legroom & Convenience
At 42 inches, the new Toyota 4Runner provides generous front-row legroom as you wrap up a trip and head back to Phoenix. The other new SUVs offer 41 inches (Jeep Wrangler; GMC Terrain AT4) and 43 inches (Ford Bronco).
The Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco are missing convenient cargo access features, and the GMC Terrain AT4's hands-free power liftgate can't compare to the Toyota 4Runner's rear power window. As Peoria explorers grab gear from their Toyota 4Runner, they can push a button and the standard rear glass window will raise or lower to their liking. There are also fold-flat second-row seats within the new Toyota 4Runner, which provides the space and convenience Tempe travelers seek in an adventure SUV.

Screen Size
Just like the Ford Bronco and GMC Terrain AT4, the Toyota 4Runner comes with an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen and standard Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ compatibility. The Jeep Wrangler's Uconnect® 5 touchscreen spans 12.3 inches.
Trail Cameras
The Ford Bronco's 360-Degree Camera and the Jeep Wrangler's Forward-Facing Off-Road Camera are less advanced than the new Toyota 4Runner's Multi-Terrain Monitor, which gives Avondale drivers an enhanced view of their surroundings. The GMC Terrain AT4 is missing an innovative off-road camera.
Speakers
The Ford Bronco's Bang & Olufsen sound system only offers 10 speakers, and the Jeep Wrangler's Alpine® premium audio system has nine speakers. The Terrain offers a premium sound system, but not on its off-road AT4 model.
