At Avondale Toyota, we are all family.  From our parts and service department to sales and especially you, our customers. During these last few weeks we've been focused on all the things we need to do to keep our families safe and healthy. 

Please know that we are closely monitoring the news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) both locally and globally, and we're paying attention to guidance published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As a local dealership, we are following recommendations from state and local government agencies. Currently, we are taking proactive measures by deep cleaning nightly and sanitizing commonly used areas multiple times during regular business hours. This is including but not limited to restrooms, coffee & snack bar area, counters, and credit card machines to name a few. We have also acquired a mobile sanitation station available to all at the outdoor service drive. In addition, all doors will remain physically open during business hours to minimize the need to touch those surfaces.

We strongly encourage you to become educated in how this virus behaves. Take some time to understand proper preventative measures to support being part of the solution. Because just like you we're part of this community and we all look forward to getting through  this as quickly and as safely as possible. 

Here are some of the basic measures listed on the CDC website: 

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. 
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.  
  • Stay home when you are sick.  
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.  
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.  
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.  
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water.  

To minimize contact points with our customers the customary handshake will be replaced with smiles and waves instead (and a possible fist bump or chicken wing).
