AASK Backpack Drive

It's that time of year again!  We are collecting backpacks and school supplies for children in foster care, now through July 24th. Bring in backpacks filled with school supplies and make the first day of school amazing for some very special Arizona kids.

 

This year's GOAL is 650 filled backpacks!  As the number of children in foster care continues to rise (currently over 17,000 in Arizona) - AASK continues to recruit foster and adoptive families to care for them.  And to make sure that each child not only has a loving home, but has the tools they need to succeed in school, we make sure that every school-age child placed with an AASK foster family will receive a backpack and grade-appropriate school supplies.
