We find ourselves saying it often, but that's simply because it's true: recalls aren't bad. Although it's understandably easy to jump to negative conclusions regarding such an announcement, at Avondale Toyota we like to remind drivers that they're done so with good intentions.

In fact, an impressive dozen vehicles from the new Toyota lineup landed on the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Picks list from the 2013 model year alone.

For the second time in four years Toyota has landed a spot on a deceptively positive list: the '50 Most Disruptive Companies' per MIT. Perched on the Ivy League's MIT Technology Review, the Japanese automaker is one of only two from the industry to receive this year's honor.
